Last Minute Costume Ideas
Quick and Easy Last Minute Costume Ideas
Don’t be left out of the fun this holiday because you forgot to think of funny Halloween costume ideas. There are plenty of last minute Halloween costume ideas that you can put together from items you probably already have around the house. Here are 5 ideas that are sure to work or at least provide the inspiration you might need to hit the trick or treat scene in style.
Rocky Balboa Rocky Adult Costume

Want to be a fighter? Find a pair of white tights and a white t-shirt, tank top or turtleneck. Pull on a pair of short shorts or silky boxer shorts if you have them over top of the tights. Now put your bath robe on overtop. If you don’t have a pair of boxing gloves lying around to tie around your neck, you can stuff a couple of red socks and tie them together on a long string to wear instead. For a finishing touch, paint on a nice purple and black shiner.

Put on a long nightgown. Throw on an old cardigan over top and button it up lopsided. Find an old pair of eye glasses to wear down on your nose or around your neck. Add a bit of rouge to your cheeks and put some baby powder in your hair.
Jailbird
Wear a black shirt and pants. Add stripes from top to bottom with white electrical tape.
Flapper
Find an old straight cut dress that you no longer wear. Glue a band of bright ribbon just below the hip line, and fringe the bottom of the dress. Put on lots of bold make up and wear several long beaded necklaces and as many bangles and bracelets as you can find. Wear a brightly colored headband on your forehead with a flower or a big ornate pin on it too.
House Painter
This is a really cute costume if you have an old pair of overalls kicking around. Use inexpensive kids paint to add blotches of paint all over you. Do the same to an old ball cap and put it on backwards. Put a few streaks of paint on your face too and carry a paint bucket for collecting your goodies.
Many more last minute Halloween costume ideas can be found online, at your local library and even just by watching TV.

I once went as the beanstalk out of Jack and the beanstalk. It was pretty easy. just wear a green top and pants. Stick some green beans onto your body and you’re done.

Does a blanket with holes in it count as a last minute ghost costume? Ok…so Mom wasn’t too happy when I did that many many years ago. Good thing it wasn’t fine 20,000 thread count Egyptian cotton!
We’ve dressed in black, with painted whiskers on and went as a cat. Maybe it was a Manx cat as it was tail-less.

Exceptionally innovative and quick idea of attire system. It looks funny but at the same time quite intelligent and shows presence of mind. We often require last time costume planning while in hurry and need immediate action. but if you are going for a corporate party or an important meeting then you need to prepare consciously and due time on hand. It would be great if women’s dresses can also be treated in the same way.

Hey, great collection of fancy dress outfits here! I did not realise that you could get the Rocky costumes… one of my favourite films! I bet they are very popular. All the best.
